Lymphatic self massage part 1
Herewith a very gentle Lymphatic massage for chest, neck front and back and ears. A great way to decongest if feeling a little clogged and to keep this area open and flowing freely. Please note Lymphatic massage is NOT recommended for people with: * congestive heart failure * history of blood clots / stroke * current infection *liver or kidney problems Should you experience any of the above symptoms, please consult with your doctor or healthcare practitioner in order for him to give you the OK to do these exercises / self massage. NL reflex activation massage
A short video and description of how one gently activates the Neurolymphatic reflexes located in your chest and back area. Which supply energy to the Lymphatic system and act like circuit breakers when the system becomes overloaded. Stimulation of the neurolymphatic reflexes assist the body in turning on the mechanisms which assist with lymph flow. A great exercise to do in the morning upon waking, making sure to use a gentle brushing motion. Drinking a lot of water to assist the lymphatic system in flushing out toxins and clearing blockages. Neck & Shoulder loosening exercise
For those suffering from a stiff neck and sore shoulders. These exercises are designed to assist you with loosening tension you might be holding in the neck and shoulder area. Be sure to move gently, allowing the stretch to loosen easily with each breath. Move gently into the resistance exercises, see how the 1st couple of rounds feel and be sure not to move past your comfort zone. Moon Salutation / Mond flow Best practices 1/2 days before the full moon, on full moon and 1/2 days thereafter too. The fullmoon is a time where we need to preserve our energy, as we‘re made up of 75-85% of water the moon has a huge impact on us and our wellbeing. Mind, body, soul. This sequence is also great for us woman during menstruation when we need to take a couple of steps back too to look after ourselves. Demonstration on postures good for strengthening ankles. Warm up, Warrior 1, Warrior 2, wide legged deep forward bend, chair pose & tree. Generally all standing and balancing postures are good for ankle strengthening. One needs to ensure all 4 corners of your feet are grounded and anchored and inner arches lifted. Enjoy!
Post run yoga sequence
A lovely sequence for runners / hikers post exercise in order to bring the physical body back into balance. Working our body physically can often take it's toll on our joints, our physic and our posture. Herewith gently moving the body through various postures with the assistance of breath we are able to soothe our being back into a state of equilibrium and balance bringing our bodies energy and life back into balance. (Please take note stretches should be comfortable and not cause you any pain, where there is pain the body is sending us warning signals so back off to a comfortable position) Enjoy!
